Summary: Location was pretty convenient however, er on the side of caution with balcony rooms. We recieved a free upgrade to a lovely large balcony room however unfortunately it's extremely noisy with road noise. You will 100% require ear plugs to sleep and still likely be woken up multiple times. The doors do little to keep the noise out. Old Quarter during the week is busy until 10pm and then still has enough honks, beeps, sirens and garbage trucks and bikes with their loud vocal speakers. They start up again at 630am too so don't expect to sleep well. I would recommend the hotel invest in some double insulation windows and doors, it would make a world of difference in the comfort. We also found the bed a little too firm for our liking. The sheets covering the bed didn't really fit properly and would easily come off and become wrinkled under you.
