Positive: Let’s begin with my reason for booking: high reviews and remarks that communication was great—both proved to be true. I was able to book a last minute spur of the moment trip and instant booking made this possible—Scott immediately sent me everything we needed. Additionally I liked that the owner confirmed on the listing what the bed sizes are. Having a two year-old that co-sleeps with us made me nervous since Booking.com only reports bed sizes as double or XL double, but this unit does have king size beds which was great! Communication: Scott it’s truly exceptional and a pro. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. Everything is extremely well organized, between the text confirmations, links to additional information, binder in the room full of great recommendations, door lock combo that is so intuitive that it makes you wonder why all rental owners don’t use the same process; and he even calls you on the house phone when you check in to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly exceptional service. The space: what a gem! The posting states the unit was recently remodeled and it certainly looks like it. Everything seemed brand new. Beachfront properties tend to take a beating from the salt air and we have stayed in many luxury apartments that were in need of updating. This looks like it was remodeled everywhere. The views are amazing, the decorations/art throughout the unit are so cute, it just gives a great cozy beach vibe. All the cooking utensils were clean and looked new. Additionally, we have stayed in many units before where everything was in Spanish and offbrands with controls that were not intuitive, which made cooking difficult. Here, everything is common big brand items such as whirlpool, KitchenAid, Samsung. You’ll feel right at home. Towels and bedding were soft. Owner even stocked bottled water and shampoo/body wash, paper towels. Fridge and freezer were cold and worked well.
