Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment is in a conveniently situated location and has a pleasant outlook from inside. The shower and shower room are good and the bed comfortable.

Negative: When we arrived there was a water leak which caused water to leak onto the kitchen floor and out into the hallway. It seemed to be coming from the ceiling and water flowed past electrical appliances which we felt could have been dangerous. We had to mop up water regularly with mops and towels - not a good way to start your holiday. Because it was a public holiday the leak could not be repaired for another 2 days which was a real inconvenience. Overall, the apartment is shabby and is in need of TLC/renovation. For example, two wall sockets in the lounge were loose from the wall and could have posed a danger to children; there was a leak from the shower partition glass; the shower room door was ill-fitting and wouldn’t even partially close; kitchen cupboards were in a poor state, with fittings swollen from water damage and doors not opening and closing properly; there was no bowl or plug in the kitchen sink so washing up was very difficult.

Summary: We had a satisfactory stay but this apartment needs some TLC.
