Summary: This might have been a glorious hotel years ago. But our impression in 2024 is that maintenance has been lacking for quite some time. Moisture in the ceilings, spiderwebs in the dining area. The majority of the sun chairs by the pool was broken. Breakfast was a failure. Individually plastic wrapped bread (croissants and the like). But “fresh” bread was served in person, but it was quite dry (1cm of the edge of each slice was dry). Asked for butter quite a few times (in English), and the answer was “yes”, but we never got any. But tomatoes and “cheese” (again individually plastic wrapped slices) was served instead. We concluded that the butter was lost in translation and therefore deemed the dry sliced bread ineatable and stuck to the cake-like plastic wrapped bread instead.
