Positive: We stayed at Altea Sea Front for almost 3 weeks and it was truly a beautiful experience. The apartment faces the sea (it is at 20 meters from the door) and you can enjoy the beautiful view all day and night. We loved watching the boats pass by, the sunlight sparkling on the waves during the day, and the beautiful moonlight reflecting on the water at night, all while falling asleep to the soothing sound of the sea. The apartment has absolutely everything you need also for a long stay even the beach umbrella and chairs! Also Jorge the manager and his wife did everything to make us feel welcome, it felt like being at home! Finally the place does not have a lot of tourist, its very quiet. We will definitely come back one day!
Negative: We liked everything but it is a bit hard to move around if you don't have a car. We don't have a driving license so we relied on the tram (about 15 min walk from the apartment) and taxis / ubers. It is also doable without the car, but it takes more time and organisation.
