Positive: Very close to the main road in McHenry. Beautiful yard and lots of spaces
Negative: Snowed the few days before we arrived and what I mean is like 15+ inches of snow. The parking area was not plowed for our stay and there was no snow shovels for us to even clear the sidewalk to get into the house. This was noted on Booking that the driveway would be cleared and snow shovels would be available. I contacted the rental company and they told me snow shovels were never promised. We had to use a broom to try to move snow to make a path for o get our things from the cars to the house. The second day someone finally cleared the area and walkway so it was easier to get into the house. I’m just glad we had four wheel drive vehicles or we probably would have not been able to stay at the house and would have had to make other arrangements for our trip. This obviously needs to be addressed and was extremely disappointing.
