Summary: Beautiful, quiet, peaceful and unique property in a wonderful village…Cadaquez is gorgeous. The wife of the host, Christa, was nice and communicated well although we didn’t actually meet her but the actual host and owner of the property was unhelpful and even threatened to kick us out when we complained about the air conditioning not working properly and the place being hot. Christa offered us some fans 3 days after we complained which helped a little but please note whilst there is air con in the bedrooms there is no air con in the living/kitchen area and there is no door between the main bedroom and the living area which means you can’t keep the bedroom properly cooled either. Christa had her staff deliver us some vegetables from her garden which was a nice gesture. The property is on the edge of the village and is a very steep walk back up from the village. Additionally just a note, the washing machine is located in a seperate building from the apartment, down the external entrance stairs (approx 15) and in the owners garage on the lower street. Overall, however, if the air conditioning situation was sorted, we would have really enjoyed our stay in the property.
