Positive: Away from it all, peace and quiet.It was a cute little cabin with a loft. We did see fireflies...! I haven't seen one in years!!! I would stay again, probably in fall/winter. There's a cafe, a small splash pad by cafe, u can eat outside, and great Sangrias! and liquor store not too far away. I wouldn't take my grandkids, they would be bored, nothing to really do that would excite them... It was nice in the evening/night sitting outside, it was breezy, felt good. Same in the early morning, sitting outside, sipping on my coffee...Very Relaxing. Stayed in the Safari cabin for 6, but only 2 of us made out there
Negative: Well you are about an hour from Fredericksburg, not bad but we got in about 4:30-5 pm and were too tired to drive another hour... There are very few things to do that are close, gotta drive out to places. But the cabin was very accommodating... I thought the cabin would be bigger, for 6 people, per pictures, looked a little bigger than what it was... But it was cute!
