Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Room was clean and massive, breakfast buffet was good (although nothing was kept warm and the coffee machine didn’t work), walking distance to the Savitsky Museum and other sights, staff were friendly.
Negative: The deadbolt on my door did not work, when I raised this with staff they told me it was nothing to worry about as the door still locked from the outside (as there is an electronic key). There was a complete lack of concern for this, with no thought of fixing it or providing another solution. Although the hotel itself was safe, as a solo woman, this made me extremely uncomfortable throughout my stay, especially at night time because anyone could scan into my room. Even with the do not disturb sign on my door housekeeping would come in. There was also no soundproofing in the room, so I could hear people on the lobby and hallway at all hours.
