Positive: Everything!!!! This hotel is a cut above. The decoration is exemplary, the amenities are plentiful and the staff go above and beyond to facilitate anything you need. Had private parking for the weekend, it’s close to the beach and restaurants but far enough to not hear city noise. Mubi and steve are just the nicest hosts ever and will help you with anything.

Negative: Nothing. Genuinely nothing usually there is something to pick up but not at ashbys.

Summary: I’d say it felt more like I was going to stay at someone’s house rather than a hotel. If you plan on staying in Portsmou
