Positive: Ali, Abdullah, and Hamid were excellent hosts. They run their hostel like a family, very warm and welcoming. Always accomidating, always asking if I needed anything throughout my stay. Grand breakfast in the mornings and the most delicious tagine for dinner. The views from the multiple terraces are gold. I spent my mornings drinking coffee and fresh orange juice on the rooftop terrace under the shade of a Berber style tent over looking palmeraie (palm groves) in the vally. Just across the street, down a flight of stairs, you have access to the to the palm groves. This lush green valley of palm, apple, pear, pomegranate, fig, and almond trees. As well as long plots of corn, mint, pumpkin, and alfalfa. Spring water from the gorge makes up the river, and with it all, things greens and wonderful. I spent hours walking the vally and resting by the river and under the shade. The sounds of the many kinds of birds and the cool temperatures within the groves make this place a paradise. The jewel of Morroco, a Garden of Eden.
