Summary: Only 15 minute walk (with bags) from the Pompei archeological site. Great (and inexpensive) pizza place a couple of hundred metres down the road (recommended by Antonio), and a couple of hundred metres from two supermarkets. Antonio is awesome - he met us, let us in and showed us around. The apartment is lovely (and roomy). A proper shower that didn't make you feel like you were showering in a shoe box! The room has a small balcony, but more important is the fully stocked kitchen/ dining area complete with roof top patio. We enjoyed a glass of juice, toast, and a cup of tea outside while taking in the views of Vesuvio in the morning sun. We'd definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it to others.
