Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We had an overall pleasant stay and the property served its purpose for our trip. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from a very reasonably priced car park, which made things very convenient.

Negative: there are a number of things future guests should be aware of. The fridge is quite small and not really suitable for catering for five people, and there’s no proper freezer aside from a small compartment. The kitchen is fairly basic and could be better equipped (for example, there were no oven trays), and the oven mitt provided was very dirty and not usable. The dining table is wobbly and the chairs are quite worn, and the living space only has one sofa, which isn’t large enough for everyone to sit comfortably together. There were also a few maintenance issues, including the oven door handle repeatedly falling off, and no clear place to store full bins. Additionally, there was no hoover available, so we were unable to give the property a proper clean through before leaving. The outdoor space was not usable , the garden is very small with broken fencing, and there is a building site next door which was noisy early in the morning and overlooks the property. The bathroom could also do with updating, and while the shower gets very hot, the water pressure isn’t great.

Summary: Pleasant for a short stay if you’re looking for a great location.
