Positive: The property is off the beaten track, quite literally! As such it's quiet, unspoilt and devoid of screaming kids and noisy neighbours. At night the only noises you hear are the distant sound of the surf, and the jungle noise. If it's quiet relaxation you're after, it really doesn't get any better. The wifi is unexpectedly good, we were able to work and stream videos, so no issues with communication at all. Air-con in the bedrooms mean that sleep is relaxed, and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is small but absolutely gorgeous, as it obviously provides instant relief from the heat of the day. And all of this without mains electricity - how environmentally fabulous!
Negative: The track to the house really is a track! If you're renting a car, probably best to get a 4X4. We didn't, it wasn't an issue, but it would have been more comfortable!
Summary: If it's quiet relaxation you're after, it really doesn't get any better.
