Positive: Rob was a great host. He showed us around. We could see the apartment wanted for nothing. It was light and airy, due to the velux windows and lovely view of the garden. We were delighted with our Easter treats. Additional small eggs were dotted about the place. It was like an Easter egg hunt. Nice touch! Food essentials were provided, along with fresh fruit. Everything was catered for. The additional conservatory was an added bonus. It led outside to the decking and the garden. It was tranquil and relaxing. There is lots of wildlife. Binoculars came in handy! The spacious wet room has a brilliant shower. The location was ideal for exploring Dumfries and Galloway. We revisited old haunts. Should we revisit D & G in the future, then we would stay at Rob and Ang's place. It is so cosy and homely.
Negative: The bed was a little low and small for us. A larger TV in the living room would have been better.
Summary: Burnside was a Gem for our Easter Retreat!
