Positive: Ca’ d’Alfieri is an absolutely magical place in the mountains of Northern Italy. The perfect location to relax, slow down and disconnect from the noise of the world. Each day, we woke up with songs of birds and were guided by fireflies at night! What makes this place so special is that you can really feel how much love, care, and respect Jacques and Anne are putting into it. The whole house is beautifully decorated by combining an old, rustic charm with a modern chíc comfort!Even more, the whole Ca’ d’Alfieri team is incredibly warm, friendly, fun and welcoming. We felt at home from the very first moment on, almost like we had been welcomed into a family! We spent such lovely, chatty evenings together. Apart from the breathtaking view of the hills and mountains, the fresh air, and the permaculture farm, the absolute highlight was Luisa’s excellent cooking. Depending on what is available, she creates fresh, creative dishes daily that are simply delicious. Honestly, if we could have, we would have stayed at least 3 more days and still falling in love with Luisa’s recipes and Jacques’ wine menue! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, for your warmth, for the love for nature and this place and that it can be felt everywhere. We will definitely come back! Until then we keep the memories close to our hearts!!
