Positive: My brother and I stayed in Cristina’s 2 bedroom, 2 bath/shower ground floor apartment in St. Croce in Venice for 4 nights. It was quiet and lovely, with a backyard area (it came with the apartment and was just for us), where we sat in the evening on the garden furniture that was provided. We were close to the vaparetto, the train station, and restaurants, so the location was ideal. It was hard to find, but Cristina was gracious and met us and guided us to the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a great coffee machine and coffee pods, which we so appreciated and there was a washing machine, which allowed us to launder our clothes after being in Rome for a few days. She spent some time showing us places on the map, so that we knew the short cut to the closest vaparetto stop, where the best bakeries and restaurants were, and the sights. She even bought cookies as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. We would stay here again. We loved it and would highly recommend it.
