Summary: Hotel was okay for the price, considering they’ve branded themselves as “luxury” we were expecting more. The biggest thing that lets them down is the restaurant upstairs. They play cheap music very loud, late into the night. We had a room that was far from the restaurant and still kept us up. We wanted to enjoy a Fanta on the restaurant terrace since it was connected to the hotel at around 4pm before getting ready for dinner. We were told we couldn’t order water (we had to get water from hotel reception) and was hit with a service charge on 2 soft drinks. None of this is end of the world but considering the hotel and restaurant are together, this doesn’t scream luxury! We ate in the restaurant one night and it was fine again. Very overpriced for Goreme, we had tastier meals for less. Hotel staff at reception were amazing, they were always on hand to help. Overall a pleasant stay, there were things in the room that had become tired. You could tell the hotel is 5 years old and things are starting to need updating.
