Positive: The proximity to Marina di Davoli town and beach were great. Great gelato at Congusto, great pastries at Il Dolce di Otto, head to the hills of Sant’Andrea Apostolo Dello Ionio for dinner at the best pizza restaurant - Tre Fontane. The accommodation is just a short drive to beautiful Soverato, Pietragrande, Caminia & Copanello beaches, Catanzaro and other small hill towns. The owners had 4 bikes which were great for our family to go exploring. They were very friendly and checked in to see that everything was ok.
Negative: The air conditioner in the living area was not cold enough to cool the second bedroom - which didn’t have aircon. we were there at a VERY hot time, so this will not always be a problem. The owner was very responsive and tried to improve it. The air conditioner in the main bedroom worked really well so we just slept in that room. The shower screen was a little tricky to adjust, and if not closed properly the water would escape due to the size of the shower…..just something to be aware of if you have children using it.
