Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: -generally had everything that i needed at the apartment: good water pressure, tap water without smell Hot water round the clock Washing machine WiFi Balcony (though not much sunshine due to surrounding overtowering buildings) Fridge + freezer 6 towels: 2 big, 2 medium-sized, 2 small ones Quiet at apartment Soap Detergent for cleaning the dishes Toilet paper, lasting for a week One small bottle of water 5 Shampoo- and- body wash-in one Comfy bed TV Electronic blinds Apartment was really clean Dim lights at night -Crotone is a peaceful, safe and comparably well off town, it's surprisingly multicultural with a handful of Asian/ Arab stores, stalls and restaurants, didn't feel very touristy -beautiful sunset from the pier -spring is really beautiful, with all the blooming flowers and trees, nice colours to look at and sweet air to inhale :) -the super friendly neighbours helped me communicate with the host and find the house -cafes, restaurants, beach, convenience shops, harbour, market could be reached within 15 walking minutes -sandy beach and sea quite clean (hardly any littering, sea weed)

Negative: -house hard to find due to lack of house numbers and wrong numbering on google maps -sometimes funny smell in and in front of the house if you know what i mean -white-blue light from lamps - i feel more comfortable with yellow/ orange light -some things need repairing: sofa "foot", cushion, shower wall, drawers/ kitchen cabinets, bathroom door, rusty balcony table -whenever i took a shower i had to dry the flooded floor afterwards using 2-3 towels -apartment quite cold -it's a studio apartment - if i had travelled with someone i would have preferred a 2-room apartment -kitchen not well equipped -two glasses, two cups, ... not meant for cooking -shampoo/ body wash not worth mentioning. Wouldn't have been enough for showering once ---- Beach equipment would be a big plus - e.g. some kind of protection from the sun in summer
