Positive: Fantastic huge beds, excellent shower, good towels and soap, nice environment, helpful staff. Filtered water machine and hot water available all the time. Efficient laundry service. Short walk to Plaza de Armas.
Negative: Breakfast was a little underwhelming compared to the marketing photos, but good generally. The coffee was horrible though (really weak)! One egg per person also seemed mean. We had 2 double rooms. One was gorgeous and the other much less generous - and had a terrible smell in the bathroom. After raising this they offered another room which was smaller again with a cramped bathroom and a fan which turned on with the main bedroom light - but perfectly adequate and definitely better than a stinky bathroom! So it seems a potluck with the standard of the room you are offered. The garden is nice, though to really enjoy it it would be better if the hotel offered coffee)snack service available in the day, and even a bar in the evening. We would have used it.
