Positive: The property is amazing. The villa is absolutely beautiful. Very spacious, extremely well-constructed and modern. Bedrooms and baths were very nice. It includes a fabulous indoor/outdoor sound system. The outdoor deck, pergolas and pool are the best features of the villa. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with local vegetation, including spice bushes like oregano, thyme and rosemary. The lighting of the grounds is exceptional. The view of the water is superb but for one villa in front of the property. Diana, the head of the housekeeping crew is an absolute delight. Warm, friendly and there to make your stay comfortable.
Negative: The only negative comments about the villa falls in the category of "the little things". We traveled from the United States. The kitchen was completely bare of any essentials when we arrived. No paper towels, spray cleaner for counter tops, napkins, basic condiments such as salt and pepper, tissues, and trash bags. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker so a complimentary bag of ice would have been appreciated. In the bathrooms, only very small squares of soap were provided. Even the most basic of hotels provide a few bathroom amenities. Also, in two of the bathrooms, the construction provides no shelving for shampoos and soap. We had to put our soap and shampoos on the floor. A shower caddy would've been nice. There was only one hairdryer for the whole villa. A hairdryer should be in every bathroom. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. However, the dryer machine settings were in Greek. An English translation of the settings would be helpful. The villa provides pool towels but not beach towels, We bought beach towels and left them at the property, You can't expect guests to pack beach towels for a trip. Providing them would've been a welcome touch.
Summary: An incredible villa and grounds. We had an exceptional time. Attention to guest amenities needed.
