This home is ready for you and your family to relax, breath, enjoy space, time, family, and nature. The Chickadee Chalet is located in the town of Red Lodge yet is in a private setting. Natural light fills this home's main level living room and open full kitchen with lots of windows for wildlife viewing. The main floor has two queen bedrooms, bathroom, and washer and dryer. Upstairs there is a roomy loft area with a crib and children's toys in case you have a little one, and a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

red lodge, nestled in the foothills of the beartooth mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, jimmy choos are probably not a great idea!)
in winter the road ends here Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us.
in summer we revel in the beartooth pass opening We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Golden marmots are often seen dashing across the trails. Golden and bald eagles often visit our area, as well as sandhill cranes and blue herons.

red lodge, montana is a rural community that does offer internet and cell service throughout most geographic areas but, some locations are completely void of any internet or cell service In town and within a 3-5 mile radius of downtown you will enjoy solid cell signal but during times when our population increases due to events, celebration (such as the Fourth of July), or emergency situations such as a wildfire you will notice that these online and cellular services slow down and sometimes, they can slow down to the point where you have to wait to place a call. We can’t do anything to help in these situations, so we encourage people to enjoy the freedom of being “unplugged” and to be patient.
