You'll be so pleasantly surprised at the delightful cottage, that has amazing space and sleeping accommodations for 5. You'll enjoy a king size bed in the master bedroom with an attached bathroom. The second bedroom boasts of a twin over full bunk to accommodate children or adults alike.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The house itself is very well kept. It’s one of the older ones in the area judging from the size and style, so for it to be in such good shape means a lot has been put into taking care of it. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for two adults and two teens, but true to the description provided. The kitchen had what we needed (except a wine key or bottle opener!). The yard was well kept, which was good for our pups.... But the yard is full of burs that hurt their feet and got stuck in their fur (typical for the area though). The dock and the kayaks were the best parts. Saw a lot of mullet jumping amongst the oyster nursery. From the dock we caught a lot of small catfish (a ton of hardheads, one teeny gafftop), croaker, pinfish, and a few spots. Nothing big. And definitely recommend taking the kayaks over the Bon Secour!Gulf beach access is a quarter mile (hot in August!) walk. We were fortunate with some very calm surf and clear water. Lots of fish to swim amongst. Cons: The vacation was nearly ruined by the construction of two very large houses going in on the lot to the north. They are squeezed in right next to this house. Feet away. Hearing hammering and sawing all day was absolutely awful. Couldn’t relax. Couldn’t nap. What made it worse was the classic rock radio the workers had blaring the whole time. Couldn’t enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the water starting from 7 in the morning. That greatly knocks my rating. It was not a peaceful vacation. This house should not be rented until the construction is done. And there will be neighbors in very close contact after that.
