just up the road to the east toward the fit-strip is an awesome view of the surrounding area, hogsback mt, sugar loaf mt, and lake superior can be seen in the distance A short walk through the fit strip and adjacent cemetery (which local legend has it was designed by the same landscaping pioneers as Central Park and the Biltmore Estate gardens) leads you towards the city center.
