Positive: We stayed before a few years ago and were amazed by the room size and the staff . We hoped the Douglas would be the same this time ,sadly not.

Negative: The double room was tiny, and I had to slide out of the bed from the bottom as the side was up against a wall ? Felt this was really a single room, especially as only 1 towel and 1 cup were left , plenty of interaction with staff very apologetic but could not help , we did get another cup and towel but trying to get ready for the funeral we had driven 350 miles to attend was a tight squeeze. So we did not bother to review The Douglas but Booking .com keep asking us to do a review ,so here it is ,Apologies but unless the Ewan Mcgregor suite is available we won't be back .
