Positive: The apartment is very spacious, and the location is perfect—the city center is within walking distance, with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and cafés nearby. The company managing the apartment was very helpful. We had to pick up the keys from another building close by, and the process was smooth and hassle-free.
Negative: As soon as I walked in, I was hit by a strong, suffocating smell of cigarette smoke that couldn’t be aired out—it was deeply embedded in the walls. The mattress on the bed was thin and soft, sinking in the middle, while the pillow was high and hard. The blackout curtain on the bedroom window barely blocked any light, so it was already bright by 4:30 AM. The kitchen could use more basic equipment—a coffee maker, for example, would be very useful. There are no hooks or hangers anywhere in the apartment, so we had to dry our towels on door handles. The entire place could really use a fresh coat of paint, as the walls are dirty, and maybe that would help reduce the unbearable cigarette smell as well. The area around the building is littered with trash, and the outdoor parking doesn’t feel very safe due to the neighborhood. It’s a shame, because the apartment itself is actually quite nice—but it’s clear that basic things are being neglected, which really affects the overall experience.
