Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Walking distance to town center and bus to Drago ,Bluff and water taxi to Red Frog. We liked the two bedrm. Has a good kitchen for Bocas, separate living rmand two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The owner put in hot water showers which is not the norm in Bocas. There is a closed in balcony with bars so can leave bicycles etc securely. The owner iwho speacks both english and spanish, is extremely attentive and does his very best to attend to any questions or concerns. He arranged a taxi for us. Dixon spoke both languages and who was very helpfully .we feel it is good value for the rent.
Negative: It is always a culture shock when you first enter most apartments. The 2 bedroom apartment is the better of the two and woth the extra if you are staying for any length of time. The smaller apartment does not have a separate bedroom but the beds are in the kichen. The kitchen is a typical central American kitchen. If you are staying a short time this will work especially for one person or couple who are out and about all day. You share the front veranda. The house is across the road from the take off and landing strip. We were surprised that it did not bother us, but it is good to be aware if this so there are no surprises. The first plane out is 8am and last in around 6pm. We did not find this an issue.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay especially the two bedrooms. The owner is awesome and there when you need him
