Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Fair choice of options for breakfast and dinner with different theme nights. 10 minutes to shopping area and nightlife if you wanted it and 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. The room was a decent size with a bed settee in a separate area. Cleaners were very good and clean towels were provided every day.
Negative: Poor furniture on the balcony. Uncomfortable black chairs were the same as in the restaurant (which is really a self service café). It was also overcrowded at times as other restaurants in the complex were being closed down. The bed was also rather uncomfortable for our liking. The pool areas were overwhelmed by noise from the children’s entertainment. Parking at the hotel is rather expensive at €12 per night. However, free parking in the surrounding streets is sometimes possible. A lower charge would encourage more people to use the hotel car park, as it was almost empty on the occasions we had to use it.
Summary: Beautiful hotel but unfortunately the facilities didn’t live up to our expectations.
