Summary: The property is beautiful with a great pool and a variety of terraces, balconies and garden areas to sit and enjoy the spectacular back drop of the Andulucian mountains. Secluded, quiet and a five minute drive from the local town, 30 minutes from the beaches of the Costa del Sol as a family with 5 kids it was perfect. Our hosts Colin and Maurine met us to guide us to the house and made sure we were well stocked with many supplies including wine, pizzas, and local cheese. They were wonderfully warm and welcoming and had thought of everything - including ice cream for the children! There was throughout such attention to detail in and around the house and garden, from well stocked kitchens to shampoo in the bathrooms, from beach toys and inflatables for the pool to books and DVDs. Superbly clean and beautifully furnished - full of character and charm. We loved the outside kitchen area beside the pool and practically ate here every meal. We loved the proximity to superb mountain runs/walks and the local historic village of Canillas de Acuetino and making friends with some of its residents. We would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you to Maurine and Colin, for making it a dream holiday!
