Our little piece of heaven is a 3-bedroom recently constructed farmhouse nestled in the hills of our private 86 acres in Broad Cove Marsh, Inverness. From the house and the porch you can enjoy beautiful views of the sunset glistening off the distant ocean. In summer, the beaches are magnetic, and the water is actually quite warm (warmer than Maine and Massachusetts). Just 8 minutes from Inverness Beach and the world-renowned Cabot Links Golf Course. In the Autumn the property's foliage is a burst of color and there is a wood stove as well as central heating - be sure to check out Celtic Colors Festival in October! The west coast of Cape Breton offers some of the most stunning sunsets to be found anywhere. Our house is perfectly located for convenient access to the best Cape Breton has to offer. Nearby you will find beaches, golf, trekking, kayaking, biking, fishing, and numerous scenic drives. It is a lovely drive to the Cabot Trail (Cape Breton Highlands National Park). Free wifi and limited free telephone will help you make plans to enjoy these activities.
the house is bright and airy with wood floors throughout The open floor plan allows for larger groups to mingle while preparing meals, dining or relaxing. Linens/towels are included and beds will be made up in advance so that you can relax upon arrival. The 1st floor bedroom has a double bed. The second floor master has a queen bed and plenty of floor space for an air mattress, The bedroom upstairs has both a double bed and a single bed and there is also a small cot suitable for a child. Our home is equipped with all the amenities, such as, dishwasher, laundry room, tons of cookware, BBQ grill, and more!
