Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very convenient location from downtown Collingwood and from blu mountain Scandinavian spa. 5 minutes walk from Georgian bay resort which had Gustav chophouse and bar with most delicious food. Communication with staff was pleasant, they are very nice and polite, instructions were clear
Negative: 1. Property says it’s dog friendly … however there are restrictions ..the dogs have to be small in size and hypoallergenic… which is basically says no dogs … if you are pet friendly you have to be ready to accept any dogs… I have two dogs husky and Labrador and had to leave them at home and make special arrangements because I was afraid of any penalties. My dogs are well trained however due to this rules I didn’t feel comfortable taking them wit me 2. The property takes cleaning fee, however , i have to take out all the garbage myself and take care of the dishes …. Also we found someone else’s sock in our bed 3. Not sure who is responsible for cleaning … but we found some spider webs above tv and on curtains .
