Summary: My best friend and I did a girls’ trip to Mallorca, and we stayed at Hotel Basilica for 8 days. It was fantastic. The hotel itself is very charming with a lot of character and has modern amenities (AC, WiFi, pool). The rooftop pool offers a stunning view of 3 of the city’s beautiful cathedrals. It’s small, but we never felt crowded, and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available. Our room was nice and spacious, especially for a European hotel. The mini bar is complementary and is refilled every 4 days. They have a pillow menu to try out ergonomic or cooling pillows to get your perfect night of sleep. The hotel has a great location that’s within a 7-15 minute walk of nearly everything in Palma. It’s on a side street so it’s nice and quiet. The front desk and breakfast room staff were wonderful. They welcomed us with champagne, were very friendly and accommodating, and super helpful. The daily breakfast buffet was extensive—pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses & cold cuts, plus all hot breakfast items including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. They will also do a made-to-order omelette or crepe. Overall, I highly, highly recommend Hotel Basilica. It was a fantastic stay in the heart of the old city of Palma.
