Summary: I stayed at Hotel Solar do Conde and, unfortunately, the experience was not what I had hoped for. The biggest issue was the bed: the “double” was only 137 cm wide, which feels more like something from generations ago than a modern hotel standard. For a stay in 2025, it was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, especially for two adults. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was quite nice, with a decent variety and good quality. However, a good breakfast doesn’t make up for a poor night’s sleep. Given the outdated room comfort, I cannot recommend this hotel. There are better options in the area that offer more modern amenities and a more comfortable stay.
