sandstone stargazing is located in the kanab creek ranchos, a very family-friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding kanab It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. the park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones and pets!
there's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: squaw, bunting and k-hill, all offering wonderful views As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

this home has convenient access to hwy 89a/89 which takes you to best friends animal sanctuary, zion and bryce national parks, lake powell, as well as the north rim of the grand canyon
here in southern utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
