the la estancia neighborhood is the finest in kanab Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room. brand new amenity park coming soon in phase 3 of la estancia that includes pickleball courts, horseshoes, playground equipment, electric chargers and more! (expected to be completed summer of 2024)
there's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: squaw, bunting, toms canyon and k-hill, all offering wonderful views Access to some of these trails is literally right outside your front door! As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

getting around:
la estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is just a couple of miles away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab.
here in southern utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

it's very important to note that there are very strict cc&r's established in the la estancia neighborhood For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule.
rules for la estancia community:
- there is no parking on the street whatsoever! you're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage
- if you bring atv’s, they cannot be parked in the driveway and must be parked in the garage
- absolutely no parties or events are to be held in any of the houses
- tenants may not invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities
- please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community
please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it If you lose the pool key it is a $250 FEE to replace it.
