Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Nice accommodation located just outside of Nafplio at the base of a mountain, providing a scenic view of the city. If you have a car and want to be close to the city, but with peace and quiet that a city cannot offer, this is the perfect place. The city is only like a minute drive away, while other worthwhile destinations are similarly close by. The accommodation itself was spacious, with plenty of parking space, and had a large garden that was perfect for relaxing after an active day, or to let our kids pay in (we had the entire place to ourselves at the time). The hosts were very friendly, and our room was cleaned on a daily basis, even taking care of our laundry! Overall a great experience.

Negative: The walls are a bit thin, and you can hear sounds fairly well. There were two evenings where nearby dogs (from the neighbor) were barking non-stop at passing cars, which was a bit annoying. Fortunately we sleep with earplugs. Some of the basic kitchen stuff was also missing. Not a very big deal though.
