Positive: I've stayed in many places across Japan, and I must say this is the best experience I've ever had. The staff were really nice and welcoming (in a way that is not too overbearing, just nice), and the rooms were spotless! They upgraded our room to the Mt Fuji view since there was no one else staying. It is also equipped with everything you need even for the ladies (cleansing oil, lotion, curling iron even) and they have yukatas you can choose to wear. The owner gifted us some strawberries as well and invited us to do some daruma painting, all without extra cost. It was really a warm stay and I'd definitely book here again if I'm in the area!

Negative: Only gripe is that there's no blackout curtains so light sleepers may wake easily when the sun is out. The location is also only accessible by car.
