Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Lagada is a resort planted into the middle of intensively farmed land with a few other houses dotted around. The nearest reasonable shopping (and I mean food) is about 40 min away by car in Iopetra. The beach, pebbly and about a 5 min walk across the road, is mostly deserted, but Makrygialos, about 5 min by car or a 30 min walk has sandy and has managed facilities.

Negative: The complex itself is dense but didn’t feel too crowded at the end of the season, though sound travels extensively. The pools are nice but cold. The staff are really friendly and were at hand for all the little niggles. But it is a 2 star facility, so don’t expect too much. Overall, a good experience.
