Positive: Vittorio was perhaps the most attentive host we've ever had in all of our travels. He is clearly passionate about his property and making sure his guests have the best experience possible. We felt spoiled. :-) The trullo was immaculate and beautifully decorated. I watched the sunrise each morning from the roof terrace -- the panoramic view was so peaceful and the perfect start to our day. Vittorio arranged a wonderful private pasta making class for us and was available and so patient with all of our questions about the area. The bathtub was luxurious - we felt like we were staying in our own personal spa. (Comfy robes, towels and wash cloths were provided!) I found myself sad to leave - Lumen Trullo was that amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a stunning retreat in the Puglian countryside. If it's available for your dates, book it!!!
Negative: The bedrooms are separate and must be accessed from their own outside doors. This isn't really something we didn't like -- but it's worth mentioning for anyone traveling with young children, There's room for a child on the sofa bed next to one of the main beds, but if you need to accommodate more kids than that, they wouldn't be able to get to you in the other bedroom without going outside.
