Summary: Warm and comfortable place to stay, well equipped and beautifully situated overlooking an old quarry, a lake, rolling fields and an ancient apple tree, once part of a cider orchard. Wildlife abounds with rabbits and a lovely selection of birds. Great facilities (wifi, TV, games, tennis court, indoor table tennis, dart board) and excellent recycling provision. House has lovely covered veranda that we weren't able to enjoy much as it was so wet, windy and cold! One of the hosts was lovely and talked to us several times, the other only spoke to us once and rudely shouted at us for using a BBQ as we were packing up to leave which unfortunately ended our stay on a sour note. It was stored in a communal utility room with other items for guests to use. Other than this unfortunate interaction, we had a lovely week here.
