Summary: We had a superior room - and i was surprised it only had a double bed. This was the biggest issue along with the "air con" wasn't effective at all- i'd even rang the hotel in advance to see if there was aircon and was told yes. We had a vent into the room but the room stat couldn't be changed and there was no discernible flow of air! And the windows could barely be opened and they weren't near the bed anyway. Also if i'm being more critical then there were no plug sockets by the bedside tables The floor was so creaky and noisy and the bar lacked an atmosphere. Just poor all round really which is such a shame given the lovely area it's in.
