Positive: The property was absolutely breathtaking. The pictures online could never capture the beauty of the place! We could see Mt. Vesuvius from the terrace and from most of the windows. The sea was a gorgeous blue with waves breaking on the rocks. The weather was spectacular so we were able to keep our windows open the whole time. My husband commented many times everyday that the place was "surreal". The town of Vico Equense was wonderful - the pace of life was much slower and the amount of tourists much less than other places we had visited in Italy. Silvia was a wonderful host and a beautiful person!

Summary: Maison Silvie was a peaceful, refreshing and rejuvenating experience that we will treasure always!
