Positive: The Mini-Hotel close to Vishehrad castle was in a quieter part of town that nevertheless was very close to the city centre. It's a nice stroll to the city centre if you're on feet, and we preferred walking into the city and back. But public transport is also omnipresent around the location. We used it twice. David, the very friendly host of the place, recommended a supermarket and a restaurant close by of which I tested the restaurant by the tram stop. It's packed with locals in the evening and has excellent food at an affordable rate.
