Bridgton is a lovely small town less than a hour from Portland and 1/2 hour to North Conway, NH with all the amenities you need for a great vacation. A short drive features local restaurants, pubs, shopping, and recreation. This home is just minutes away from grocery stores, hospital, and drug stores just in case you forget anything you need.

This house is truly designed and located for enjoyment throughout the year. There are two bedrooms each with king size beds on the main floor with a full bath. Upstairs holds a large bedroom/bunk room 3/4 bath and loft with 1 Queen bed, 3 double beds s and 1 queen futon total. The main floor with 18 foot vaulted ceilings houses windows everywhere looking into the mountain for a great morning view.

During the summer, lake living is the focus. The house has deeded beach rights to Alpine Village Beach on Moose Pond, which has exceptional water quality, is 7 miles long and is great for all kinds of boating, from sailboats to powerboats to canoes and kayaks. There are lots of options for hikes in the area as well, and big hikes in the White Mountains are a short drive or a short scenic hike at Jockey cap mountain a few miles away. In addition, the attractions in North Conway, Jackson, and Pinkham Notch are close by.

In the fall, the legendary New England colors are the big attraction. With a beautiful lake framed by the mountains, this is a wonderful place to experience one of nature’s greatest displays.

In the winter, the most popular activities are skiing at Shawnee Peak or Sunday River. Shawnee Peak offers tremendous terrain with impressive night skiing at some of the most affordable prices in New England. Sunday River is one of the premier destination ski resorts in the East.
