Negative: 1. Having to pay extra for sheets and towels. 2. Then told that we would have to pay another $15 per bed to have someone fit the sheets on the beds. 3. Advertised as having two bathrooms when one of them was a small laundry with a shower and toilet, no hand basin and no mirror. 4. A $500 security bond being charged against my credit card. 5. The property was poorly prepared for occupation - kitchen was untidy with drawer contents thrown haphazardly into drawers. Seating on balcony was inadequate and the whole property was tired. We didn't feel that it was value for money. 6. Confusion about pet friendliness. Advertised ny Booking.com as pet friendly but pets specifically excluded by Pacific Palms unless by special arrangement. No security for our dog outside the property and had to lock him inside if we were absent. 7. Having to wait up to 7 working days to get bond resolved. 8. Had to make full payment up front with no satisfactory cancellation policy and no refund of any kind possible.
Summary: Poor quality property and unsatisfactory management and service by Pacific Palms.
