Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The place is really nice and short walk to the dam and activities. The rooms are big, spacious and clean, with generous room in the bathroom as well and a big, big shower. Having a pool on the property was also a big plus.
Negative: Having an air conditioner in the room. Not sure what happened, but we had booked and paid through Booking.com but it seemed like the property was not expecting us. This was a huge inconvenience because we had to wait for 20 minutes whilst they tried to sort out a room for us, meaning we did not get the accommodation we had confirmed. There needs to be better management of bookings done through Booking.com and those done directly with the property. If this is not rectified I suggest that they stick to one method of booking or remove their property from Booking.com.
Summary: Good stay minus the booking hiccup. The caretaker is very hospitable and goes the extra mile.
