Positive: We stayed 3 nights at this quaint house (Sri Lanka style, not tourist style). Nice to have a couch and a kitchen after staying in hotel/guest house rooms for 5 weeks. Good AC in bedrooms and each also has a strong wall fan. The living room has a ceiling fan as well. 2 drying racks for wet beach clothes. Good hot water in the shower. Power strip in living room for your charging needs. Good horizontal table space across all living areas. Based on the cost for what you get, it’s worth staying here if you want a living room and kitchen.

Negative: Rough start after keeping host informed of our 3p arrival time but not allowed to check-in for 2 hours because he let previous renter stay until 4:30pm. Place not cleaned well. Place is dated, run down and not well maintained. Outdoor areas poorly kept but was slightly tended to at 4pm on our last full day. Bathroom is damp and its walls need a good scrubbing. All these are easy and low-cost fixes if the effort is made. Cannot comment on WiFi because Modem was not available when we arrived and decided not to have him install it the second day (used our SIM cards). This place ranks towards the bottom of places we stayed during our 5 weeks here thus far.
