Positive: Mario and Natalie were both super friendly and attentive hosts, and nothing was any trouble for them. They were staying in the apartment above us and were always on hand if we needed anything, including kindly sharing some bread when the supermarkets were closed due to a religious day. The apartment was a good size for a family of four and had all we required during our stay, including ice cold air conditioning, which was very welcome as the temperatures outside were above 30 degrees. A huge private terrace with seating and just the most beautiful view. Free parking outside of the property in a large space was great. This apartment is a short 5-10 minute walk to Prva Draga beach and 20 minutes from the town centre that has many restaurants. The jewell in the crown was the beautiful little black cat who came to visit us numerous times a day for cuddles, which my daughter especially loved.
Negative: For us personally, we have visited Senj many times, so we are aware that most accommodations will be high up as you are in the mountains. This includes lots of hills and slopes and many, many steps. Look at it this way, you can eat all the lovely local foods and sweet treats and then exercise when walking back to your apartment.
