An off shore prevailing Southwest wind makes Guffins Bay great for boating and water skiing, as the water is typically very calm. A public boat launch is located next door to the property.

the source of water is a shore well, therefore the water is not potable The owner provides a 4 gallon bottle of drinking water at each booking. Guests are responsible for drinking water beyond that.
